In 2014, while attending an exhibition in Germany and conducting consultations, I happened to meet with a factory that sold electric drills. Until then, I had only done simple tasks at home, like tightening and loosening screws. But when I saw the tools, I realized that there were different types for cutting, grinding, scraping, drilling, and more. Purchasing all these tools together would be quite costly.
Around that time, I had developed an interest in DIY projects, and it struck me that consumers needed an affordable product that would allow them to make simple repairs at home. After returning to Korea, I began meeting with experts and tool manufacturers, working hard to turn my idea into a product.
After about two years of preparation, I launched Korea’s first DIY electric tool capable of performing eight functions. As expected, the response from consumers was explosive. Today, the tool has expanded to offer 12 functions, making DIY tasks at home much easier.
Looking ahead, I anticipate that the number of DIY tool users will continue to grow. My goal is to develop tools with even more functions and to provide an after-sales service that exceeds expectations, to repay the trust of our customers who use our tools.
